RSP-One Hand Trainer Bat

RSP (by ProBats)

The Pro Bats One hand Trainer is a valuable tool helping you to improve your hitting stroke.  Whether coaching, or striving to improve your own swing, the One Hand Trainer will make it easier to accomplish your goal.

One hand training drills have been around for quite some time.  The reason… they work.  It is an excellent way teach a short, compact swing, allowing your hands to take the most efficient path to the ball.  A short, compact, powerful swing is the goal of every hitter.

Typically, the player or coach will modify a full size bat by cutting it down at the handle or choking up on it.  Neither one of these solutions replicates the balance and feel of the bat you will use in a game.

As a former player and coach, I have always tried to replicate game situations as much as possible when trying to make improvements.  Our One hand Trainer is made in four lengths (20″, 22″, 25″, and 28″) to accommodate hitters of all ages.

These perfectly scaled down bats provide the balance and feel needed to successfully execute the variety of one handed drills used by players at all levels of baseball.  Each bat is approximately a +2 weight ratio.

Care Instructions

To avoid any unnecessary damage, it is important to properly care for your bat. Throwing your bat even on grass or dirt, or tapping against cleats or other surfaces. The repetitive impact can cause chips, cracks or splits which can get worse over time.

It is best to avoid storing your bat in excessive conditions. Excessive heat, moisture or dryness can make your bat brittle.

Only hit leather baseballs. Do not hit dimple ("cage") balls, weighted balls, or anything other than a leather baseball made to meet the specifications of game play.
